Summer Special Events that are great for firewood outreach:
- June 6th, 2015: National Trails Day
- June 13th, 2015: National Get Outdoors Day nationwide, and also PlayCleanGo Day in Minnesota.
- July 18-26, 2015: National Moth Week spans two weekends.
- All of August: Tree Check Month, which focuses mostly on checking for the signs of Asian longhorned beetles.
